OMGEVING and its team partner Plusoffice Architects have been selected to develop the master plan and development strategy for the Kessel-Lo node in Leuven: the old bus depot site and the area around the Blauwput bridge.
During an intensive but productive design process, the team wants to investigate how this complex node can develop into a well-functioning entity. From the thematic design approaches of mobility node, program node and ecological node, the development into a fully fledged urban area with local and supra-local anchorage will be explored.
This project, commissioned by the city of Leuven, is being led by the design collaboration between OMGEVING and Plusoffice Architects, together with a multidisciplinary team consisting of supporting partners Suunta, Orientes and Ingenium.
