The 60-metre-long bicycle and pedestrian bridge Reep Bridge designed by NEY & partners, connects the west of the Overleie to Buda Island and the city centre of Kortrijk. The bridge acts as a comfortable crossing for slow traffic users and is landscaped into the wider slow network with an attractive green park space at the head of Buda Island. An attractive sitting area at the end of the island offers a wide perspective with a view of the river Leie.
